The Great Nothing

Everything starts with an idea. That is what first came to mind when I thought of this Pisces New Moon. Pisces can be hard to pin down. The month of March is described as, ‘In Like a Lion Out Like a Lamb’ and is predominately Pisces and certainly mutable. I like to think about Pisces as the mystery of potential to transform. This month I witnessed several snowstorms and now blooming crocuses scatter my landscape, and without fail, in every approach to Spring, I cannot believe it. The change seems to come out of nowhere. First there is nothing, then there is something. The miracle of life.

The polarity of Pisces is Virgo which is all about making sure that Something is successful in the here and now, on Earth. She is here to make happen: The Nothing into Something. On the eve of Spring, I am thinking deeply into making my ideas a reality. Pulling from the divine space of the mind and its creativity and transforming that which is intangible, that nothing as others might call it, into something.

Pisces can be experienced as elusive in the same way that water only takes shape when given boundaries. The corresponding full Moon in Pisces will not be until late September, in the time of Virgo. That gives us plenty of time to take nothing and make it into something. So, with this new moon in Pisces, I encourage you to harness the power of your vision. Trust your intuition. Dance with your dreams. Learn from them. Listen to them. And when you are ready, pull one of those ideas that seemed to come out of nowhere, pull it here, and change the world forever. Happy New Moon in Pisces everyone.
